Glass act

Bohle will showcase the latest in glass hardware, processing tools, consumables and machinery technology at Glasstec.

With a 1,000m2 stand, the company has created its own ‘micro exhibition’, with two distinct zones. The first of these showcases Bohle’s glass machinery, UV bonding, surface protection, consumables, machine tools, vacuum technology and glass processing tools, while the second houses its range of glass hardware products.

A key feature in the glass hardware zone will be the new MasterTrack internal sliding door range, which can be fitted in as little as 10 minutes and requires no glass processing to install. Able to accommodate glass thickness from 8mm to 12.76mm and a maximum weights of up to 150kg, the system is available as either a wall-mounted or ceiling-hung system.

Dave Broxton, managing director at Bohle, said: “Glasstec by definition, is about product innovation and we have a number of very exciting new products on show at this year’s event. This is epitomised by MasterTrack, our new modular internal sliding door system, which offers significant installation efficiencies and exceptional through-life performance, making it ideal for premium residential, as well as commercial installations. We’ll also be revealing another new innovation – our new balustrading system – for the very first time at this year’s show.”

Other products offerings on show will include Xtraclean which uses a specially developed combination of ultra-fine microparticles, essential oils and surfactants which combine to create a mechanical effect, which loosens dirt without scrubbing, meaning that it’s suitable for removing deposits of building dirt and rust from a wide variety of materials including glass, stainless steel, ceramics, tile joints and other hard surfaces.
