Efficiency transformed

A CRM system that would enable Newry based Mourne Windows to track every single order right through from lead to warranty was at the top of business development manager Ian Young’s list of things to do when he joined the company in May 2018.

Up until then, the team at Mourne was working via standalone spreadsheets which, while effective, were not particularly efficient. Having reviewed the various options on the market, Ian chose the Business Micros Track IT retail software.

Track IT works directly with the Business Micros’ EvoSatellite remote pricing and ordering software, which Mourne already uses from one of its suppliers, providing a single, fully integrated CRM, pricing and ordering solution.

“Track IT was the only option we looked at which works alongside EvoSatellite,” Ian said. “That gives us a huge advantage in terms of being able to get up-to-the-minute information on any aspect of any order or quote, while also managing and tracking our entire sales operation.”

Since the system went live in October, the 20-plus team at Mourne has been using Track IT to log leads, input orders, schedule appointments and installations, and monitor customer contact. Each of them has remote access to the system and can view calendars, customer lists, and management and user reports on laptops, tablets or mobiles.

“There is complete visibility now across the business on how we handle leads, quotes, orders and customer follow up which is enabling us to offer a more consistent and efficient service,” Ian said.

“The reports function means we have better management information available than previously and that will certainly enable us to improve our overall business performance moving forward.”
