Dutemänn claims first PAS24-2022 with Glide-S patio
Dutemänn UK is reported to be the first company to achieve the new PAS24-2022 accreditation with its Glide-S lift and glide patio door.
“This achievement is a part of Dutemänn’s ongoing testing regime,” said technical director, Steve Prudence.
“Testing is in our DNA. Dutemänn has always tested the products we make to the most up-to-date standards. We never rely on systems companies to test products and then use their ‘trickle down’ standard. We believe that we must back our products with our own testing.”
This new, improved standard of security has additional testing criteria, superseding the 2016 version.
The Glide-S configuration tested, with a mullion of just 38mm, is said to be the slimmest double track lift and glide patio door on the UK market.
Glide-S has a maximum panel weight of 400kgs. Each panel can be 3.3m x 3mwith glass sealed units of either 28mm or 44mm.
