Distinction Doors has reported that sales of its contemporary door range are up 18% year on year.

Bethaney Larkman, marketing manager at the company, said: “Consumer trends are very much design-led at the moment and homeowners are looking for products that deliver a style statement.

“Our range of contemporary doors gives homeowners what they are looking for and this is something that is reflected in our growing sales figures. The popularity of contemporary door designs is also reflected in the statistics from the door-designer platform that can be accessed from our website: the percentage of people looking at contemporary options is growing month on month.”

Distinction’s contemporary doors offer efficiency and enhanced security.

“Homeowners want a door that looks good, but they aren’t prepared to compromise on the essentials such as thermal efficiency, weather fastness or the security of their home,” Bethany said.

There are six designs in Distinction’s contemporary door range, each with a variety of exclusive contemporary glass designs. All contemporary doors feature Distinction’s woodgrain finish, a feature that is carried through to the glazing cassette.
