A new AI assistant has been launched to help window and door installers capture more enquiries, in a time when leads are harder than ever to come by.

GlazingBot, created by digital strategist and glazing tech specialist Elton Boocock, is designed to give installers a way to respond instantly to customer questions even when the showroom is closed and the team is off-site.

“When enquiries are already down, every potential customer matters,” he says. “But what we’re seeing is websites that sit static while homeowners are actively looking. If you’ve got fewer visitors each week, losing one or two potential enquiries because they couldn’t find an answer to their question can have a significant impact. GlazingBot is designed to change that.”

The AI-powered assistant sits on the retailer’s website and answers technical questions in real time. It explains things like U-values, frame options, trickle vents, and security ratings. It has been trained and tested on relevant building regulations and how the glazing sector operates. Most importantly, it knows how to recognise when a customer is ready to take the next step and passes their details to the retailer instantly.

“It’s not a chatbot with generic answers,” Elton adds. “It’s a glazing-specific sales assistant that helps the right conversations happen sooner.

“Most installers have live chat tools or FAQ pages, but live chat only works when someone’s sitting behind it, and FAQs don’t convert. GlazingBot responds with the right answer at the right time, without making the homeowner work for it.”

Installers can get started in just 30 minutes. They simply choose which products they install and provide a few company details – there’s no writing, coding, or training needed. GlazingBot is pre-loaded with product and regulation knowledge, and updates automatically as specifications change.

Leads can be routed by email or passed directly into a CRM system and conversations are stored for easy follow-up and review.

Elton adds: “In the current climate, smart responsiveness isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s essential. Installers can’t afford to lose leads to silence.

“GlazingBot helps you be available in the moments that matter – whether that’s early Sunday morning or late at night.”

GlazingBot is now available for £40/month, with no long-term commitment.
