Bohle launches new drop-down seals

Bohle has expanded its hardware portfolio with a new range of premium drop-down door seals – combining high acoustic performance, refined aesthetics, and installer-friendly features.

Available in aluminium, black anodised, and raw mill finishes, the range has been developed to meet the needs of installers working with modern interior glass systems.

Designed for internal glass doors in commercial and residential settings, the seals offer certified acoustic insulation of up to 42 dB, making them ideal for offices, meeting rooms, and high spec living spaces.

“Our new range of seals gives installers exactly what they need – fast installation, premium performance, and sleek finishes that suit modern interiors,” said Paul Miller, national sales manager at Bohle. “They’re available in a wide range of lengths and can be easily shortened, making them a perfect fit for varied applications.”

Available in standard lengths from 708mm to 1,083mm, each seal can be cut down to size, ensuring flexibility on site. A mill/raw finish version also gives installers the option of applying custom colours for seamless integration with bespoke frame designs.

One of the most significant advantages of the new seal design is the elimination of the visible counter strip on the opposite side of the glass pane. Instead, a solid, colour-matched counter profile is applied using adhesive tape – creating a clean, uniform appearance on both sides of the door and elevating the overall finish.

With a drop range of up to 14mm, the seals compensate for floor unevenness, ensuring a reliable and consistent seal every time.
