Invergordon based installer, ERG Scotland, has posted record annual sales figures of Β£5.8m for 2023.
Covering the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, ERG has grown 30% year-on-year and broken the Β£5.5m barrier for the first time in the companyβs 50-year history.
Headed by the husband-and-wife duo of Ian and Greer Joy, ERG is now established as one of the regionβs largest home improvement companies.
βWe couldnβt be prouder of our team,β said Ian Joy, ERGβs managing director.
βWe set an ambitious target to raise our business further. Iβm delighted to say that everyone associated with the company has done a fantastic job in ensuring that we all have a record-breaking year.
βThe success that weβve achieved, despite the tricky trading conditions and economic uncertainties, is testament to the hard work, tenacity and dedication of our staff members who work incredibly hard to deliver an exceptional service to the families and communities of the Highlands.β
Key to ERGβs monumental growth this year has been the adoption of new marketing strategies and continuing to work closely with their manufacturing partner, Conservatory Outlet.
The Scottish retailer has committed to growing their presence on social media and has undertaken several localised campaigns to boost brand awareness across the Highlands and Islands. To help achieve this, ERGβs sales and marketing teams have made the most of Conservatory Outletβs free training courses, with individuals attending the West Yorkshire manufacturerβs social media roundtables and enrolling on the companyβs sales and product training academy.
βWeβve leaned on Conservatory Outlet for support,β continued Ian. βERG Scotland enjoyed a strong end to 2022 and their team has allowed us to build on that through 2023 and give us the advice and tools to succeed.
βOur accomplishments this year are a testament to the hard work, tenacity, and dedication of our team. Together with the excellent operational advice, and marketing expertise from the teams at Conservatory Outlet and DigitalKOG, weβve had a fantastic 2023.
βThe support that we receive for being part of the Conservatory Outlet Network has meant that weβve been able to quickly pivot our plans to react to ever-changing market conditions and stay ahead of the competition. Next stop Β£6m!β
Conservatory Outletβs CEO, Greg Kane, added: βERGβs performance this year is nothing short of incredible. Ian, Greer, and the team have never lost sight of putting the customers first by delivering a fantastic product backed by incredible service.
βItβs a delight to work with them and we look forward to many more years of supporting their growth.β
