A bond for life
Jack Aluminium’s JD47 system has been specified for a bonded double door set at the headquarters of one of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies.
Architectural aluminium glazing specialist, Rodnic was asked to provide a solution with an elegant aesthetic to match the external facade, that was stronger and more durable than a standard frameless glass door.
“The JD47 was the ideal product for this bonded door,” said Chris Rodger, managing director at Rodnic.
“We’ve been using the system for years now and it’s so robust, straightforward to manufacture and extremely versatile. The slim sightlines matched perfectly with the external facade of this building and the bonded door set was being used as an external windbreak with another set of doors inside.”
