£4 million new orders

Scunthorpe-based manufacturer Highseal Manufacturing Company has received £4 million worth of new orders following a string of recent new business wins owing to its accreditation with the BSI Kitemark, the company has annouced.
The accreditation follows £130,000 internal investment from the Donaldson family, the owners of the business, which is contributing to a recruitment drive that will see the team increase to 25, with further job opportunities over the upcoming months.
The growth and expansion will see Highseal provide the windows and doors to nearly 2,000 new homes across five new housing development sites. Highseal is also set to introduce Warmcore from Synseal.
Neil Donaldson, managing director at Highseal, said: “Our focus is to consistently provide a better quality service for our clients, driven by maintaining solid relationships with trade customers, installers and distributors. The BSI Kitemark accreditation has increased the amount of orders we are receiving threefold, and has thus meant that we are expanding our team, crucial in light of the growing demand from regional and national clientele.”
Neil also said Warmcore has been well received in its trials.
“The new aluminium range will also be available in our sister brand, the Cre8a Pod, which are stylish and modern accommodation units, business premises and garden rooms,” he said.
