Weatherglaze Windows has reinforced its position as one of Ireland’s leading PVC-U trade fabricators with a major investment in three Graf Synergy seamless welding machines from Haffner.
The investment includes the new Graf Synergy Seamless SL8-FF TR CNC 8-Head welding machine and two Graf Synergy SL4-FF EVO seamless welder, enabling Weatherglaze to further enhance the quality, efficiency and aesthetic appeal of its premium window and door offering, manufactured using Aluplast’s innovative PVC-U systems.
The investment marks two significant industry milestones. Weatherglaze becomes the first company in the UK and Ireland to take delivery of the new Graf Synergy SL8-FF TR CNC 8-head welder and the first fabricator in Ireland to install Graf Synergy seamless welding technology.
Based in Gorey, County Wexford, Weatherglaze has been manufacturing high-quality PVC-U windows and doors for more than 45 years. The company has built its reputation on continually investing in advanced fabrication technology to deliver premium products and exceptional service to its trade customers.
Manufacturing Aluplast’s Ideal 70, flush sash neo plus HST85 lift and slide, Neo Smart-Slide and Aero-Slide patio systems, Weatherglaze is well placed to take full advantage of Graf Synergy’s seamless welding technology.
The seamless corner welds complement the clean, contemporary appearance of the systems, while enhancing the overall finish. The technology is particularly suited to Aluplast’s premium finish foils of Woodec and Aludec, designed to replicate the appearance of timber and aluminium respectively, these premium finishes rely on exceptional corner detailing to maintain their authentic appearance.

The SL8-FF TR is the world’s first eight-head CNC welding machine, capable of simultaneously welding all four frame corners together with two transoms in a single operation, delivering exceptional production efficiency alongside perfectly seamless welded corners.
Supporting it are two SL4-FF EVO seamless welders featuring Graf Synergy’s patented V-Perfect technology. The machines eliminate the need for corner cleaning and cosmetic finishing, producing consistently high-quality seamless welds that perfectly complement Aluplast’s Aludec, Woodec and standard foil options available across all of the Aluplast window and door systems.
Continuing its programme of investment, Weatherglaze has also become the first fabricator in Ireland to introduce Aluplast’s Energeto Neo system to its product range. Combining this next-generation PVC-U system with Graf Synergy’s seamless welding technology creates a class-leading, high-performance window solution, giving Weatherglaze a unique and compelling offering in the Irish market.
