Tested and approved

Aperture Solutions, with Capstone, have created a wide range composite doors that have achieved PAS 24: 2016, and the doors have also been tested and approved to BS6375 for air and water tightness as part of this process when tested as a door-set.

Steve Kendall, Aperture Solutions director of sales, said “To enable us to achieve PAS24: 2016, we designed our door slabs to have an LVL insert placed within the door making penetration much less likely. The LVL reinforcing is encapsulated in a PU foam core material, which also provides excellent insulation reducing energy costs for the homeowner. We are extremely proud of the quality we have achieved and it reflects the continual drive for innovation and quality across our composite door range.”

Aperture Solutions is stocking the full range of PAS24:2016 compliant doors available for immediate delivery.

Capstone also offer a PAS24:2016 FD30 fire tested composite door slab. The FD30 fire door test was undertaken in January 2017 at Exova, High Wycombe.

Mark Towers, ODL Europe’s managing director, said: “We would highly recommend any fabricators or installers attending this May’s FIT show to come and take a look at our Aperture Solutions doors first hand. Aside from the build, from an aesthetic point of view, we have one of the most accurate and authentic woodgrain definitions available on the market today and it will be a good opportunity to see our doors and discuss how we can support your sales and business development goals.”

ODL Europe and Aperture Solutions will also be displaying their Blink Blinds, fully enclosed blind systems, flagship TriSYS glazing cassettes and Spotlights – a contemporary collection of glazing cassette frames.
