Strongdor to make FIT Show debut

Strongdor, a leading manufacturer of bespoke steel doors, will be making its debut at this year’s FIT Show on stand P47.

Strongdor will be launching its new and improved Securidor steel door range. The new product features a panic exit steel door tested to PAS 24, with U values as low as 1.6 and options for both manual or electric locking, panic hardware on both inactive and active leaf, alongside manual and automatic dead locking options.

Strongdor is also inviting visitors to the show to keep their eyes peeled for its distinctive mascot – Theodor!

If you spot him on the day, attendees can claim a key and then visit the stand to crack a lock and win a prize. One lucky person attending the show will win the top prize each day. Prize choices include a trip to Paris for two people, a Weber gas barbeque and an Apple Watch Series 7.

During the show, Strongdor will be offering product demonstrations to showcase its full range of steel doors available including louvred doors, glazed panel doors, fire doors and security rated options to PAS 24 and SBD.

Business development director, Leon White, said: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at the FIT Show for the very first time. Many of our existing customers will know we don’t really do standard or boring. I can’t wait to meet everyone on the stand and show you all the exciting plans we have for the event – our marketing department had to swear me to secrecy about our plans!”

Based in a 44,500ft2 manufacturing facility in Lancashire Strongdor offers a complete range of precision-built steel doors including personnel doors, fire exits, security rated and even acoustic doors.

The company has also been accredited as a member of Made in Britain. According to Strongdor,

the mark lets customers know that it is a trusted company that values ‘transparency, sustainability and ethical business practices’. Consumers are also said to be increasingly recognising the Made in Britain mark as a mark of confidence.

As part of Strongdor’s commitment to transparency, it has opened up its factory in a 360 degree virtual factory tour, which will be showcased on its stand at the FIT Show and available to view on its website.

Managing director, Tim Devenish, said: “As a manufacturer, we are continually looking to deliver excellence. Excellence in manufacturing, excellence in sourcing of raw materials and excellence in customer service and experience. Having moved to our new manufacturing facility in 2021, our production capacity has more than tripled, enabling us to deliver industry beating lead times and unrivalled quality.”

Strong is offering lead times of custom steel doors as fast as six working days.
