Sherborne Windows is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Founded by Chris Long, the company supplies high quality windows and doors throughout Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and South-West London.
When Chris established Sherborne Windows, he says he ‘made a commitment to fairness and care in every interaction’, whether with clients, staff, or suppliers and these principles remain at the heart of the company today. As a family-run business, Sherborne is said to prioritise the values of integrity, support and community and is proud of past nominations for the G Awards.
Chris commented: “I have been incredibly fortunate to have such a great team of people working with and supporting me, along with my wife Claire and my brothers Andy and Tim. This close-knit team has been integral to the company’s success and growth over the years.”
Sherborne has expanded to four showrooms in Hartley Wintney, Sunningdale, Farnborough, and Windlesham.
Chris said: “Our Sherborne team is like an extended family. We have four families working here, with over 30 years of service between them. Our families include two brothers, Mark and Terry Hardy; father and son, Jeremy and Will Hedger; father and three sons, Mark, Ben, Jordan, and Jack Marshall; and my own family – my wife Claire, our daughter Molly, and my two brothers Andy and Tim.”
Many staff members have dedicated over 25 years to Sherborne, advancing to leadership roles within the company. According to Chris, their enduring commitment and loyalty are greatly valued and have been instrumental in shaping Sherborne into the strong multi-million pound company it is today.
Today, Sherborne continues to thrive, proving that a foundation of family values and quality service is key to enduring success.
Chris believes that these principles have helped the company navigate recent challenges and will continue to guide Sherborne into the future.
