Race Day raises over £2.2k

Window Widgets and sister company, The Residence Collection, have raised over £2.2k for their two chosen charities at the Glass Times magazine Race Day at Haydock.

Window Widgets and The Residence Collection sponsored the raffle on the day, which attracted over 400 people. In total, they raised £2,249.60 that will be split between We Mind & Kelly Matters and GM Fundraising.

This comes as part of a mission to raise £21,000 to be distributed between the two charities following the company’s 21st birthday in 2021. The funds raised from the Glass Times Race Day brings the total so far to £12,760 – with only £8,240 to go. In addition to raising funds at Glass Times Race Day, Window Widgets has published a Pink Book Of Jokes which is sponsored by organisations in the industry.

The Residence Collection will be sponsoring the next Glass Times Race Day, which is scheduled for 8 September at Epsom and will also sponsor the raffle alongside Window Widgets.

Jo Trotman, marketing manager at Window Widgets and The Residence Collection, said: “It was a fantastic day at Glass Times Race Day and the Window Widgets and The Residence Collection team who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was fantastic to see such a great turn out and connect with so many other people within our industry. Most importantly, we’re thrilled that we raised more money to add to our fundraising target for We Mind & Kelly Matters and GM Fundraising and we thank everyone who contributed to these two great causes.”
