PVCU and ali merger

Central RPL and Central ASL are set to merge in a bid to bring a more cohesive, consistent service to customers.

Profile 22 fabricator West Bromwich-based Central RPL, and aluminium fabricator Central ASL, are both owned by the Boing Boing Group. With both businesses thriving amid the post-lockdown home improvement boom, the group decided the time was right to begin a long-planned merger and create Central Window Systems.

“RPL and ASL are both outstanding fabrication businesses,” Gary Morton, CEO of the Boing Boing Group, said. “Both offer a huge range of market-leading products, backed with first-class technical expertise, and one of the most experienced management teams in the window industry.

“We believe that by combining the two, we can provide a better service to our many customers.

“Often, we speak to installers who buy PVCU products from us but have no idea we have a sister company that specialises in aluminium, and vice versa.

“By becoming Central Window Systems, installers will benefit from the full extent of the fantastic windows and doors we supply, and we’ll be able to offer more joined up service across the board.”

The rebrand will come into effect from February 2021.
