Tommy Trinder has appointed Phil Wardle as chief executive officer, marking a new chapter for the window and door software business.
Phil joined Tommy Trinder in 2024 as business development manager and US market lead. Since then, he has played a central role in launching the platform into America, winning early customers and helping adapt Tommy’s products, terminology and sales approach for the US market.
Before joining Tommy, Phil was sales director at St Edmunds Windows & Doors. His combination of hands-on industry experience, technology know-how and commercial drive made him the natural choice to lead the company through its next stage.
“Tommy has grown from an idea shaped by the everyday challenges of selling windows and doors into a platform serving businesses across the UK,” said founder, Chris Brunsdon. “The next chapter needs fresh energy, strong commercial leadership and someone who understands our customers and the extraordinary opportunities opening up through AI.
“Phil has all of that. He knows how windows and doors are sold, he knows our technology, and he has already demonstrated the judgement, pace and determination needed to take Tommy forward.”
Chris adds that he will remain closely involved throughout the handover, providing continuity and support as Phil takes the reins.
Phil commented: “What Chris and the team have built is genuinely special. Tommy makes a complicated sales process simple, visual and enjoyable, and there is enormous potential to take that further in both the UK and the US.
“I am proud to be taking the lead and hugely excited about what comes next.”
The appointment will see Tommy continue investing in AI-led innovation, customer growth and international expansion.
