New testing supersite
Exova has opened a new 50,000ft2 supersite in Wednesbury, UK.
Serving national and international customers in the automotive, door, window and hardware industries, the new testing facility draws together expertise and facilities from around the UK.
The investment in the new site facilitates the expansion of Exova’s testing capacity and capabilities, enabling it to continue to provide customers with a range of technically demanding services and consultancy.
John Willox, group managing director of the products division, said: “Working with customers from across the globe, we provide the solutions they need for testing of products within the supply chain. In putting these services under one roof, we are increasing efficiency, improving turnaround times and giving more access to the full range of Exova skills.”
Work undertaken at the site will include: security, durability and weather testing of doors, windows, and hardware.
The site will initially employ 32 people, a figure which is expected to rise in the first two years as Exova’s development plans are realised and will offer testing to British, European, international and OEM standards.
