New system officially launched

Aluplast will officially launch its new PVCU system, the Ideal 4000 and its new aluminium cladding system Aluskin, at the FIT Show.

The 70mm system is defined by a contemporary ‘squareLine’ profile and Aluskin, a ‘clip-and-fix’ aluminium finishing system, which allows PVCU fabricators to manufacture an aluminium-clad PVCU casement window without the requirement for specialist equipment – opening-up access to new market sectors.

It also allows aluminium system fabricators to manufacture a thermally efficient WER A+ window.

Ian Cocken, director of sales and marketing at Aluplast, said the German-owned systems house’s decision to attend the expo for the first time this May signalled “the importance with which it held the UK window and door industry”.

He said: “The UK window and door industry is a key global market for Aluplast and we are committed to a long-term investment and development strategy. This is reflected in the launch of two new systems this year and in in our decision to attend the FIT Show.

“In the Ideal 4000 casement system, we’re bringing to market an exceptional contemporary SquareLine design PVCU system in its own right but through Aluskin, extending its reach further into new and what are high margin markets for fabricators.”

Ideal 4000 is tested to Part Q, PAS24:2012 and Secured by Design Specifications. It’s also available in 27 foiled finishes on lead times of 15 days or under on special orders with no minimum order, no surcharge and no set-up costs.
