Elumatec has signed a deal that will see it exclusively supply PVCU machinery products from German manufacturers Sturtz.

Principally known for its aluminium machining range, Elumatec has nonetheless supplied PVCU machining products for a number of years. However, this latest arrangement will expand that range.

“We’ve been delighted by the level of success we’ve been able to achieve in the aluminium machinery market,” said Elumatec managing director Phil Heavey. “It will always be a central part of our business. But at the same time, we’ve got big ambitions for the future.

“The UK PVCU market presents an enormous opportunity for us. We’re committed to bringing the same innovative, quality-focused ethos we’ve always applied to aluminium to the PVCU side of the business – and we’re confident that given our decades of experience, our respected brand, and some sensational products from Sturtz, we’ll be able to quickly establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned with.”

Products include: Sturtz FlexCentre 160, a cutting and machining centre that boasts a six-axis machining module and a triple sawing unit; the Sturtz TXR 3/2 corner transom cleaner that fully automates the cleaning of corners, transoms and crucifix welds; and the Sturtz VSM Turbo Welder – a high-speed vertical four-point welder that can reduce welding times by up to 30%.
