From real to virtual

The GGF’s Members’ Day annual conference will now be an online event, held from September 29 to October 1 via video conference.

GGF Members’ Day, incorporating the AGM, was originally scheduled for Manchester on September 30. The change has been made to reflect the current risk to health and safety following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The three-day event will include 12 guest speakers and nine presentations covering: economic overview, political landscape, health and safety, technical, marketing, training and the environment.

GGF managing director John Agnew said: “The current situation around Covid-19 has forced us into this decision but looking at the webinars, Members’ Week promises to be a unique experience, combining presentations from expert speakers and new technology. This kind of event has never been hosted by a trade body in our industry before and I am looking forward to an exciting week in September.”
