First award sponsor

Reynaers is the first company to lend its support to the Glazing Summit Awards.

Reynaers will sponsor and present the Sustainability in Business Award at the Glazing Summit Dinner at Edgbaston Stadium on Thursday, October 8.

At last year’s Glazing Summit, Reynaers Aluminium’s director of technical services John McComb was part of the expert panel that discussed sustainability, recycling and plastic within the industry.

“We were delighted to play a part in the sustainability debate last year and, as it’s a massive ongoing issue across the whole industry, it’s a fitting award for us to sponsor,”Reynaers’ managing director Richard Hall said.

“We feel the Glazing Summit Awards will be a great addition to the Glazing Summit and we’re excited to be involved in its debut.”

Categories also include: Employer of the Year; Outstanding Achievement; Customer Experience; Family Business of the Year; Start-up Business of the Year; Fast-Track Business of the Year; and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit Awards, said: “Reynaers have been huge supporters of the Glazing Summit and I’m delighted they are our first Glazing Summit Awards sponsor. We’re hoping more companies will follow suit.”

The Glazing Summit Dinner, featuring a champagne reception and after-dinner speaker, is set to attract around 250-300 business leaders from across the glass and glazing industry.
