F.H. Brundle opens new North-West facility

F.H. Brundle has opened a new branch, moving its existing Haydock site to a new location in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside.

The facility can stock over 10,000 products, with more than 3,000 individual bins, and more than 1,000 pallet spaces.

It incorporates its own dedicated sales desk, as well as a trade counter for free collection, and a showroom displaying a wide range of the company’s products.

To ensure customer orders are picked and packed with both speed and accuracy, warehouse staff have access to handheld technology to help locate and organise items in stock, as well as automated steel cutting equipment.

Director, Michael Brundle, commented: “After 15 years at Haydock, it became clear we’d begun to outgrow our existing site, and that if we were going to continue offering an outstanding service to customers around the region, we needed to expand.

“That was a big decision. It’s taken us two and a half years, and extensive investment, to get the new site in Newton-le-Willows to where we want it to be.

“However, that effort was more than worth it. The new facility is a dramatic improvement on what we had before, and leaves us excellently placed to continue serving valued customers in the area for many years to come.”
