Business of the year
AB Glass has won two awards at the Swansea Bay Business Awards 2017, including the Business of the Year award, at a ceremony held on Friday March 3 in Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall.
The Swansea-based company overcame tough competition from some of the most established businesses in the Swansea area, walking away with the Manufacturing Business of the Year award as well as the Business of the Year award.
The Swansea Bay Business Awards celebrate some of the most significant successes in business in the area through recognising top firms and individuals.
AB Glass’s founder, Alan Brayley, started the business in 1991 with just one van. Last year (2016) marked the company’s 25th year in business. The company now secures £multi-million projects with some of the UK’s leading construction and property development firms.
Alan Brayley said: “I am so pleased with how much recognition the company has received from the Swansea Bay Business Awards 2017. Acknowledgment needs to be given to the team at AB Glass as without them, we would not be where we are today. They are dedicated, hard working, and willing to go the extra mile, and it is these attributes that help lead a company to success.”
