The greatest showroom

On Thursday June 27, Prefix Systems will launch its new product showroom at its head office in Blackburn, Lancashire. Director Chris Cooke says that following the success of the product training facility at its head office, Prefix Systems felt the time was right to show off its products in a premium environment.

We discussed the new showroom around the time of the FIT Show plans, and we decided as a team that with the quality of products we have, and the increasing developments of new products, now was the time to invest in showing them off.

While the number of showrooms at the retail level has increased over the years, there has generally been less pressure on trade intermediaries to replicate this approach and it’s something we’ve spent the last six months carefully building to help support all our trade customers.

Given our broad product range of roof systems, aluminium windows and doors, along with other home improvement and outdoor living solutions, our new showroom is the perfect place in which to present everything under one roof. It also allows us to physically demonstrate the Prefix difference and the way in which we carefully manufacture and distribute these products nationwide, through our four branches.

The benefits of a showroom are considerable in that they can be used for technical training, sales presentations and for general product awareness, to both staff and customers alike. It also supports all the work we do through our other branches, and over the next 18 months we’ll be looking to adopt the same type of premium showroom environment at these locations.

Glazed roofs have been the mainstay for Prefix Systems for the last two decades, and although other products have enjoyed stronger growth, we are still aware for the need to develop our core offering.

From a roofing perspective we’re showing glass roofs, the impressive tiled WarmRoof development and the hybrid glass variant with full length glass units from eaves to ridge. We are also excited to announce that our launch day will showcase our new aluminium brand for our extensive range of windows and doors. The Opal flat rooflight is also shown off alongside our range of lantern roofs in aluminium, timber and PVCU.

For customers, the opportunity to see different products, materials and combinations will be a big plus, so they are more informed with our complete product range. They will be better supported from a project point of view when they can single source all glazing materials from us, with the added benefit or our unrivalled support programme from a customer service, marketing and technical perspective.

Ultimately our showroom will be a place to really engage with our customers, whether you are in a retail environment or operate as a trade intermediary. It will also be used for staff training and a place where our customers can bring their consumers should they not have a showroom themselves.

As much as our website is a digital representation of us as a business and of our products or services, this showroom is a physical representation of this and also much more. We are very excited for the launch and welcome anyone to come along on for the official launch.
