Flag-flying at Fensterbau

As Jackloc makes its debut appearance at Fensterbau Frontale, directors Emma Wells and Judith Burrows explain what visitors should expect.

After a successful year in business in 2017, we believe the timing is right for us to finally make our debut at Fensterbau. In previous years, we have focused our attention on building the Jackloc brand both at home and abroad in a number of international markets, as well as strengthening our product range.

Now, as we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we can head to Germany with a lot to shout about; not only have we grown our presence in markets like the Middle East, North America and Asia, we were also finalists for Component Supplier of the Year at G17 Awards and we were honoured with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.

Fensterbau is an international platform that’s perfect for a global business like ours and we’re really pleased to attend as part of the UK Pavilion.
We will be exhibiting our complete range of restrictors, which have set the benchmark for window safety in both residential and commercial applications across the world. Designed, engineered and manufactured in the Midlands to BS EN standards, the Jackloc range includes push-and-turn, swivel/stud and key-lockable folding models.

The focus of our stand, however, will firmly be on our MK2 key-lockable cable restrictor, the winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
Jackloc can effectively reduce the risk of injuries and fatalities caused by falling from windows. Whether it’s hotel resorts, housing associations, the healthcare industry or homeowners protecting their families, we provide a range of high-specification, high-performance solutions that can protect reputations, guard livelihoods and most importantly, safeguard lives.

2018 marks 15 years in business for Jackloc – the business is built on the design created by our father Derek Horne after speaking to a hotelier who had a child come perilously close to falling from a window.

Over that 15-years, we have built a track record of absolutely no fatalities or injuries, which is a claim that no other cable-based restrictor can make.
We are very much looking forward to exhibiting at Fensterbau, flying the flag for the British fenestration industry and highlighting to businesses from across Europe and further afield, the difference Jackloc can deliver.
