A picture speaks a thousand words

Carol Sherlock, from aluminium fabricator Hepworth, shares a recent residential new build project which is said to be sparking the imagination of contractors, installers and homeowners across the North West and Yorkshire.
As fabricators, we’re often only involved in part of a project, especially when it’s a large new build rather than a refurbishment, replacement, or extension.
We may get to see the overall architectural specification or building regs plans and indeed, here at Hepworth, we love to contribute at this stage with ideas of what is and what isn’t possible in aluminium.
But then often, our doors and windows disappear off into their new homes to be enjoyed for years to come. Anyone who has tried to get photography of their doors and windows in situ to use for endorsements or case studies, will be familiar with the challenge of taking pictures on building sites, or trying to remember to go back often months later to get the perfect shot of the final installation.
But imagine if you could see the whole house build project from start to finish. Imagine if your doors and windows define the end aesthetic. Well, that’s precisely what we’ve been able to do in Mirfield, near Wakefield on this self-build where the developer bought the property as an investment to do up and sell. We wanted to share the stunning results of SAS Seniors aluminium doing what it does well in a home now on the market for £850,0000.
We love a challenge
