In other news, the latest data from installer quotation software specialist, Tommy Trinder, has revealed a potential change in market conditions for premium products, including for heritage style flush casements and vertical sliders, and also for bi-folds.
According to Tommy Trinder, this once lucrative sector is now coming under the same price pressure that is more typically associated with the volume market and standard ‘white plastic windows’.
Based on data from 200,000 quotes over the last six months, the price of bi-folds has dropped by 5%, with some parts of the country now offering a doors installed for less that £1,000 a leaf.
