SupaLite is hosting its first Spring Conference in April 2026 at Preston Golf Course, bringing together sales specialists and industry partners for a jam-packed day of insights, networking, and expert-led sessions.

The event marks the start of SupaLite’s new Conference Series, created to drive sales forward, and support consumer-focused sales professionals operating in an increasingly competitive roofing market.

Starting at 9am, attendees will be welcomed with breakfast and coffee, followed by a sandwich lunch, with general nine-hole golf tickets included as part of the conference package. This ensures attendees can enjoy the golf course experience while networkingwithin the fenestration and roofing sector.

Challenges and opportunities

The Spring Conference has been designed to respond directly to the challenges currently facing the conservatory roof replacement market. According to SupaLite, as demand continues to grow, installers and sales teams are increasingly competing with clad over roof solutions, many of which prioritise short-term cost savings over long-term performance and compliance.

SupaLite’s conference will focus on enabling their trade partners to confidently communicate and detail the value of fully engineered Building Regulation compliant roof systems to their customers. The emphasis throughout the day will be on selling quality, durability and compliance, rather than competing on price alone.

Seminars and sales training

A combination of seminars, information-led sessions and sales training will be a main feature, all developed to deliver practical and commercially relevant guidance.

Two guest speakers will form a central part of the agenda. One session will focus on Building Regulations, offering detailed insights into compliance, structural performance, and thermal efficiency.

This presentation will support attendees in understanding and communicating the regulatory advantages of solid roof replacements compared to non-compliant alternatives.

A second guest speaker will deliver a dedicated sales training seminar, aimed at improving sales performance within the roof replacement sector. Topics will include objection handling, value-based selling and effective customer communication, equipping sales professionals with the skills required to secure higher-quality projects.

Steve Hacking, managing director at SupaLite, emphasised the benefits this will bring to consumer sales teams in the roofing and fenestration industry: β€œOur Spring Conference is all about investing in people.

β€œWe aim to equip sales professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to sell both correctly and compliantly. We recognise that our customers face competition from clad over companies offering cheap, quick fixes – but these solutions are non-compliant and pose real risks for homeowners.

β€œOur goal is to provide training that empowers our customers to win projects by emphasising quality, durability, and compliance – not just price. By combining expert insight with real-world sales training, we’re helping our partners stand out for the right reasons and build sustainable, long-term success.’’

Selling with confidence

Alongside the guest speakers, SupaLite’s senior leadership team will deliver a live presentation, sharing product insights, market trends and proven sales strategies. These sessions will provide updates on product development, market positioning and how to effectively sell SupaLite roof systems in a competitive market, address common homeowner concerns and build trust through education and transparency.

They will focus on how to educate homeowners, building trust and offering solutions that genuinely improve their living space and deliver long-term value.

The conference will also reinforce why partnering with SupaLite offers far more than just access to market-leading roofing systems.

From providing ongoing technical and marketing support, and access to free installer training at a dedicated training centre, these resources are designed to help partners and installers improve operational efficiency, enhance sales capability and achieve sustainable business growth.

According to SupaLite, its first Spring Conference of 2026 represents a clear commitment to professional development within the industry. Suitable for seasoned professionals or newcomers to the industry, the conference is said to have been carefully shaped to deliver value at every level.

There will be more SupaLite conferences being held at different venues across the UK throughout the year. Keep an eye out for more information.
