Alutech previewed a number of new product developments at the FIT Show, including a slimline aluminium window and patio door system.
Alutech says that visitors to the stand were also impressed by its universal lock keep and upgrade to the BF73 aluminium profile system for bi-folds, French doors, single doors and bi-folding windows.
In response to market demand, Alutech Systems adds that it has been working hard behind the scenes towards the imminent launch of its new thermally broken, super slim casement window system, W73, designed for the aesthetics and insulation requirements of today’s residential properties.
Super slim frames and sashes provide a large glazing area and can be glazed from the inside as well as from the outside. It can also be easily integrated with Alutech’s BF73 aluminium system for doors.
Sales director, Mike Moulds, said: “The system will be easy to fabricate and install, harnessing the latest in product design. WF73 will be both thermally efficient and weather tight to comply to Part L and able accommodate multiple glass types. The window system will be safe and secure to PAS24, with advanced security using a special glazing fixing clip. Boasting sightlines of just 70mm and available as both flush and non-flush sash, its stylish design will enhance any property.”
Elsewhere on the stand was a preview of the new SL130 lift and slide door system, an ultra-modern, super-slim sliding patio door solution, offering a single, double and triple track option for a large range of opening configurations.
Designed for large opening sizes with high thermal values, noise, security and weather requirements, it is complete with soft closing technology and offers easy operation.
It boasts a slimmer 50mm central interlock for improved sightlines and integrates aesthetically with other Alutech systems, with a Anti Bi-Metal thermal breaks option.
