UK Doors Online has celebrated two years in business. The Yorkshire based aluminium fabricator says that it has experienced growth that has more than doubled year on year, and has forecast more success following the introduction of new products at the FIT Show.
From stand F51, UK Doors unveiled its new slimline aluminium window as well as demonstrating the versatility of its bi-folding door system that can also be used to fabricate French doors, single doors, and bi-folding windows.
According to UK Doors Online, it was the company’s new heritage range that really captured the imagination of visitors to the stand. This uses either astragal bars or transoms to replicate the style of steel doors.
Its corner bi-fold was also said to be a particular talking point.
Managing director, Andrew Glover, said: “This was the first time UK Doors has exhibited at any trade show and it was great to be able to go there with new products and design innovations as well as the popular and well-loved doors we’ve become known for.
“But for us, the most important thing was the opportunity to speak face-to-face with our customers and meet new installers and tell them what we’re about. Because as much as we pride ourselves on the quality of products we produce, it is our approach to customer service that really sets us apart and is the biggest reason we’ve grown so quickly.
“This is all down to the team we employ and constantly looking for ways to improve our processes. And we can only do this by speaking to people to truly understand what is important to them,” he concluded.
UK Doors Online is gearing up to begin manufacturing new product lines and expand its fabrication facilities to accommodate growth.
