Masterframe has launched the new specification Authentic Collection, which are sliding sash windows that use the Timberweld manufacturing technique.

Carol Slade, managing director at Masterframe, said: “As the PVCU market has developed from standard white plastic to value-added premium products, homeowners have come to generally expect higher standards from replacement windows. It’s even more important when they’re shopping for vertical sliders.

“If a homeowner is looking for sliding sash windows, there is already a certain expectation of quality and beautiful aesthetics, but we understand that installers need to stay competitive. That’s where the Authentic Collection comes into play.”

Authentic Collection windows feature Timberweld technology, a patented method that produces traditional timber-style butt joints both inside and out.

The Authentic Collection also comes with BBA Approval which means Masterfame’s sash windows have exceeded the BBA’s 20,000-cycle endurance testing for ‘whole of life’ performance. White woodfoil comes as standard for Authentic Collection windows and there’s the additional option for frames to be coloured matched to any Farrow and Ball, RAL or BS colour.
