Sheerline’s S1 steals the spotlight

Riverside Bifolds has won Sheerline’s Installation of the Month competition for May, fabricating and installing an S1 roof lantern at a property in Winchester, Southampton.

The new lantern replaced an unusual round roof lantern on the new build property, which is said to have clashed with the overall aesthetic of the home.

Riverside Bifolds says it recommended the S1 roof lantern because of its slim, sleek, contemporary look that is in keeping with the rest of the extension. It sits at an impressive 5.8m in length – just under the maximum of 6m – with a width of 1.5m.

In terms of the colour, the homeowner opted for pure white (RAL 9010) inside and anthracite grey (RAL 7016) outside, with Activ Blue self-cleaning glass. It took one day to complete the installation.
