Overnight success

Entec Design Services recently completed the building envelope of a new 83-bed Premier Inn in Middlesbrough using Exlabesa Building Systems’ ECW 50 curtain walling system and KSF Non Thermal Door system.

Alan Clayton, technical director at Entec, has worked with Exlabesa Building Systems since the company was known as Kaye Building Systems.

“[The ECW 50 curtain walling] provides a high-end curtain walling system that delivers what specifiers need. We have a great relationship with Exlabesa and they offer a range of off-site works that we really value.”

Alan said the gasket design makes glazing simple, and the system can be integrated with Exlabesa’s KWS window systems and KSF and KTS commercial door systems, as was the case with the Premier Inn project.

The Premier Inn project was the first to be completed in the planned re-development of the Gurney Street Triangle area of Middlesbrough.
