Colour creates character

South Cheshire Glass recently installed windows in a charming property near Nantwich in Cheshire.

Graham Saunders, South Cheshire’s general manager, said: “Our customers had a delightful property but they wanted to replace the windows and doors to take the aesthetics to the next level as well as improve thermal efficiency and security.”

South Cheshire Glass is a Universal Trade Frames customer and a member of Spectus’s Excellence as Standard installer programme.

“We used the Elite 70 system throughout the project,” Graham said. “The requirements included casement windows, circular frames, French doors and door combination frames and we used golden oak and chartwell finishes from the Spectrum colour range. Around 40 windows and 15 doors were replaced.”
The windows and doors were part of a wider refurbishment programme and installation took place in phases over the course of a year, with separate elevations completed at each visit.

“Our customers had a charming property to start with but by working closely with them from beginning to end and understanding their needs we have helped them create a stunning showpiece home,” Graham said.
