Yale new supplier for Korniche bi-fold handles

Yale has been selected as the new supplier of door handles for the award-winning Korniche range of bi-fold doors from Made for Trade.

The decision to go with Yale is said to have been based on the company’s technical expertise, manufacturing capabilitiesand consistent product quality.

According to Yale, the development led to aclose collaboration between technical teams to create an ‘enhanced and exclusive’designthatdelivers ‘outstanding’ durability and strength. The handles have been tested to 100,000 cycles and meet BS 1670: Grade 5 for 480 hours of neutral salt spray and BS EN 1906:2012 for strength.

“Our Korniche range is all about attractive design combined with robust functionality – it is the finer detail such as the handles that make or break the overall delivery in the eyes of the customer,” commented Ashley Gaunt, technical director at Made for Trade. “That’s why we’ve selected Yale as our new supplier of bi-fold door handles for the range, as we feel they are the best fit to compliment our premium product feel, quality, brand, and aesthetics.
