Wise decision

Polar Windows added the Optima Flush Casement Window from Profile 22 to its portfolio a year ago, which, managing director of Polar Windows Alan Crowe said, was a wise decision.

“We’ve seen a 30% growth in requests for the Optima Flush Casement Window since this time last year as more and more homeowners see the benefits of what the window has to offer,” he said.

“It’s marketed as a heritage window and it certainly offers authentic period aesthetics. But its slim sightlines also appeal to consumers looking for a sleek, contemporary appearance. The fact it covers both markets so well is reflected in the fact our two most popular colours are the classic heritage shade of chartwell green and the contemporary shade of agate grey.”

The design is based on a traditional British timber cottage window and, because it’s part of the Optima range, it has features common across the entire range to minimise stockholding.

“The market for flush casement windows is set to be one of the biggest growth areas in the coming years,” Alan said. “The fact we have what I believe to be the best product on the market in our portfolio means we’re well placed to benefit from this trend.”
