Window Ware has added the new Glazpart AluVent to its product portfolio, providing aluminium door and window fabricators with a sleek, low-profile background ventilation solution engineered specifically for metal profiles.

Designed to combine discreet styling with shop-floor efficiency, the all-aluminium trickle vent solves key fabrication challenges while delivering full Building Regulations Part F compliance across 2500, 4000, and 5000 EQA options.

To streamline assembly, the AluVent features tool-free, interference-fit end caps that push-fit directly into the grille by hand. An interlocking tab mechanism locks the assembly securely in place, preventing caps from vibrating loose or separating during transit.

Additionally, unique offset fixing clips hold the vent flush against the profile, serving as a hands-free positioning guide for rapid screw fixing. Inside, an integrated foam-insulated closure plate helps reduce thermal cold spots, drafts, and noise when shut.

The versatile, surface-mounted unit can be fitted to sashes, frames, or knock-on profiles, and is compatible with both 10mm and 13mm slot routs, allowing fabricators to integrate the vent into existing tooling set-ups.
