Universal Trade Frames launches UniDoor

Epwin Window Systems’ fabricator Universal Trade Frames has launched its new UniDoor composite door range. Manufactured from Epwin’s CD70 universal composite door outer frame and a 44mm thick solid foam core slab, the new UniDoor has been designed to deliver superb energy efficiency and outstanding product durability.

Duncan Saunders, general manager at Universal Trade Frames, said: “The new UniDoor is manufactured from a robust, 44mm thick solid foam slab that’s protected with 2mm GRP skins which are 10% thicker than comparative composite doors. Each door is then encased within the outer frame to create the perfect fit. This manufacturing method provides superior door strength and product longevity.”

Available in six individual designs, UniDoors are customisable with a choice of 12 colour options and seven complementary outer frame colours for exceptional kerb appeal. A range of glass and furniture options is also available. Duncan said: “The visual impact of a front door is crucial in elevating the overall aesthetic of a property. Our UniDoor range of styles and customisable features empowers installers to meet the specific preferences of all door projects.”

The doors are fitted with Yale high security hardware as standard, and a Secured by Design Upgrade is also available upon request.

UniDoor achieves a U-Value between 1.4 W/m²K and 1.1 W/m²K, depending on which style of door has been selected.
