Tommy Trinder extends live support


Tommy Trinder will now be offering live customer support until midnight.
“The window industry has never knocked off at 5pm,” said Tommy Trinder CEO, Chris Brunsdon. “Whether our customers are out selling in the house, pricing up jobs in the evening or putting finishing touches to a presentation for a homeowner, they can now rely on our expert support team right through until midnight.”
According to Chris, this expansion reflects the firm’s commitment to helping installers who are less proficient in using computers feel confident with selling digitally.
“With more than 1,200 double-glazers using the Tommy app at any one-time, there’s always a wide range of tech skills on display,” he explained. “Some of the best salespeople in our industry have come off the tools and would be first to admit that computers are not their strongest suit. For these folk, in particular, knowing that you can get a helping hand when you need it really takes the stress off.”
The newly extended support hours apply across all channels, including live chat for rapid, real-time guidance and email support for more detailed queries. Customers are said to have responded enthusiastically to the improved availability with around 50 out of hours support calls fielded in the first two weeks since live.
Queries have been answered in an average of just 47 seconds by Tommy’s twilight team.
“It’s a big commitment to lay on a night shift,” said Chris. “But if a little bit of help at the right time can help close a deal or get an important quote out the door on time – it’s got to be worth it.”
