Tilt and turn hardware range extended

Window Ware has extended its range of tilt-and-turn hardware with GU Uni-Jet.

GU Uni-Jet tilt-and-turn gearing provides a flexible, universal system that’s compatible with PVC, aluminium and timber windows.

GU Uni-Jet tilt-and-turn hardware is fast and simple to fit and fine-tune, plus it takes up less space in stock rooms, the company said. An integrated sash lifter and anti-slam device combine to give reduced component wear, ultra-smooth operation even on large or heavy windows, and excellent tolerances.

Customers can choose from face-fix or fully concealed systems available from stock, with high-security versions that support PAS 24 testing available by special order. All components come with a 10-year mechanical guarantee and are finished with GU FerGuard silver high-grade advanced corrosion protection as standard which has been salt spray tested to 550+ hours.

The addition of the GU Uni-Jet solution extends Window Ware’s offering in this popular product category; 20 years ago, Window Ware started selling Maco’s tilt-and-turn system with great success, and today, this style of window is still very much in demand and remains popular in commercial applications, the company said.

Window Ware’s commercial director Richard Bryant said: “Fabricators want convenience and choice, and they don’t have time to shop around. Window Ware aims to provide all the products they need and the leading brands they prefer all under one roof, always at the right price and just when they need it.

“By continually growing our range with industry-proven products like the GU Uni-Jet tilt-and-turn system, we’re ensuring that when customers come to Window Ware, they’re able to source all their hardware in one go.”
