Spitfire doors launches timber fusion collection

Spitfire Doors has launched a new timber fusion collection in response to growing market demand in the UK and Ireland for a high-end alternative.

The S-400 range, which is solidly constructed from West Canadian red cedar, will sit alongside Spitfire’s S-500 exclusive aluminium range to provide luxury quality, high specification entrance doors.

The door’s elegant finish is complimented by modern stainless steel hardware and organic glass inlay options, as well as state-of-the-art security features including biometric and keyless entry, automatic key fob opening, and fingerprint recognition (storing up to 100 impressions). Each door comes with a physical key for manual override too.

At a standard 94mm thick, each door leaf is complete with a security barrel and five-key multipoint lock.

Surpassing Passivhaus standards, this thermally efficient door system features substantial layers of industrial foam and noise reducing fibre board insulation, meaning less environmental impact and lower household running costs.

Bespoke care and maintenance kits are also available for easy after sales care.

David Richards, chairman of Spitfire Doors, said: “As with our successful S-500 Series aluminium range, we have found a timber offering that is unrivalled in the UK and Ireland market for its sheer beauty, luxury, security and value.

“There is continuing demand for contemporary timber doors that provide durability with finishes that are not commonly available. We now have that product in our S-400 range and know we have brought to market a leading product, that is built to the standard of leading European doors.”
