ERA has launched a dedicated suite of certified hardware that has been independently tested to the latest standards and is available in a wide range of unique finishes.

The portfolio has been launched to support fabricators with the latest design trends for timber, composite, aluminium and PVC-U entrance doors.

The range includes the new TS 008 Shield letterplate, TS 007 Berwick high security 2* door handle and the TS 003 door restrictor and door chain, which are available in a range of patented Hardex finishes that perfectly match over 200 hardware and door and window furniture products within the Fab&Fix range.

Sarah Knight, product manager for ERA, said: “We have a responsibility to ensure we consistently support our fabricator partners in achieving complete compliance with the latest standards.

“However, that shouldn’t be achieved at the expense of visual appeal, which is why we have created a range of certified high-security hardware that is available in a range of unique, patented Hardex finishes that offer unrivalled durability and longevity.”

Going above and beyond neutral salt spray testing, ERA’s prohesion testing process includes an electrolyte spray sequence with drying cycles at high temperatures to concentrate salt deposits, achieving real world accelerated testing.

As a result, the Fab&Fix Hardex finish is supplied with a 10 year function, finish and security guarantee after undergoing 1,000 hours of prohesion testing.

Also central to the portfolio of certified solutions is ERA’s new high security 3* Euro profile cylinder, which is supplied with a £2,000 anti-snap guarantee, as well as the 3* BS Kitemarked Invincible cylinder, which offers five times the strength of a conventional cylinder.

Independently tested and certified in accordance with TS007:2014+A2: 2018 and EN 1303:2015, the cylinder has been proven to provide the highest possible levels of protection.
