UK supplier of Oakio oak composite decking and cladding products, Ronjack, has celebrated a record month for sales.
“Sales of Oakio decking have smashed even our top predictions,” Katie Morley, managing director at Ronjack, said. “In the first year of launching Oakio, we experienced a 30% increase in sales, which we’re so pleased about.”
Designed in the US and manufactured in China, Oakio is available in more than 40 countries, and has been available in the UK since September 2020.
“Oakio decking has been so popular thanks to the beautiful aesthetics and impressive performance,” Katie said. “It’s available in both natural wood and contemporary colours, and will truly stand the test of time, with little or no maintenance. Not to mention it’s anti-slip and barefoot friendly so it’s super safe for the whole family.”
55% of Oakio cladding is reclaimed oak, which gives a more natural finish that homeowners want, and its structure makes the decking very hardwearing, the company said.
