VisiRoom is an augmented reality app that is designed to allow installers to demonstrate how finished products will look in situ to homeowner customers.

Users can create the customer’s design in vsHome and can then either present it directly during an appointment or share it by text message, email or QR code. The customer or retailer can then open the design in the free VisiRoom app on a compatible iOS or Android device and view the model in their own environment.

The visualisation is based on the design created in vsHome, carrying across key details such as dimensions and materials.

VisiRoom includes three viewing modes which are designed to allow for different ways of interacting with the model.

In Real Scale mode, customers can preview their design at full scale, accurately placed against their property. The app detects horizontal and vertical surfaces to help position the model. Once placed, users can walk around it, view it from different angles and also step inside to understand the space better.

Tabletop mode is designed for situations where the user is away from home. It allows the same designed to be viewed on a flat surface such as a table, making it easy to move, rotate and zoom in on details whilst on the go or in the showroom.

Virtual Reality mode is available for use with a compatible VR headset. It provides an immersive way to explore the design, although it is typically used less frequently than the mobile and tablet modes due to the need for the headset.

VisiRoom is free to download for both retailers and customers, with no specialised equipment required for the mobile or tablet experience. By allowing designs to be viewed in context before any work begins, VisiRoom helps customers better understand the proposed project and gives retailers a more effective way to present and communicate their designs.
