Platinum44 offers ‘style and substance’

Hörmann Truedor is offering customers its new Platinum44 contemporary steel door, which has been designed to provide installers with a high-performance product at a competitive price point.

The door leaf of the Platinum44 is manufactured with an insulated polyurethan core and a galvanised steel surface which makes it resistant to twisting and warping. It is set within a steel reinforced PVC outer frame and is fully accredited meeting Building Regulations parts M, L and Q.

The door features the unique Colourcoat Prisma textured surface from Tata Steel, a three-layer coating system which is said to provide a ‘robust yet beautiful finish’, providing the highest standards for corrosion and UV resistance.

With a 44mm thick door leaf, high security multi-point locking systems and Kinetica 3-star locking cylinders – Platinum44 has been extensively tested against all forms of attack and has achieved Secured by Design accreditation.

The doors are available in two design styles – the ultra-modern, sleek Flush Design and the Slatted Design featuring additional horizontal grooved detailing on the doors surface. They are supplied with either a textured or smooth satin finish, in a choice of jet black, anthracite grey or white with colour-matched frames. They are available in a range of glazing options, hardware and brushed stainless steel accessories.

Gareth Burgess, sales manager for Hörmann Truedor, commented: “Platinum44 represents a real opportunity for installers to offer the market a high-quality steel door at a competitive price. As with all Hörmann Truedor products, the door is manufactured in the UK at our IG Doors plant in South Wales, utilising short supply chains and local suppliers wherever possible. This results in a sustainably manufactured door packed full of additional features and benefits, all backed by the well-known and trusted Hörmann brand.”
