Order fire doors online with Hurst portal
Hurst Doors’ range of third-party accredited composite fire doors is now available to order through Hurst Live, its dedicated customer portal, which allows customers to quote and place orders, and access full technical support.
Hurst Live allows customers to specify the exact requirements of their fire door projects, place orders efficiently, and track deliveries in real-time. The portal also provides access to a comprehensive order history, enabling easy management of both ongoing and past projects.
Mark Atkinson, Hurst’s sales director, said: “We recognise that it’s about supporting and educating our customers in the requirements of the market, ensuring they have all the necessary information to be knowledgeable and confident in installing our products.
“We know through our market research that some trade customers have previously hesitated to service fire door enquiries due to concerns about the required skillset or regulatory knowledge. However, it’s important to note that our fire doors have been successfully integrated into the market for the past two years now.”
Mark said Hurst continuously strives to equip its installers with the necessary tools and information, and specialists are also on hand to help them navigate every stage of their fire door project.
In collaboration with Fire Door Systems (fds), Hurst has expanded the accessibility of its composite fire doors. Each door comes with installation instructions, enabling installers to meet the high standards required for compliance and performance.
The Neuma fds FD30s GRP composite fire door system holds triple certifications for Fire, Smoke, and Security, having been rigorously tested to meet BS EN1634-1 2014 and PAS24:2022 standards. UKCA-accredited for external applications as well as internal, the fds composite fire door range is available in 10 door styles, with or without fanlights and sidelights and in a variety of colours. These doors also meet BS6375 for weather performance, provide a U-value of 1.6 W/m2K unglazed/1.8 W/m2K glazed, and reduce noise by 33db.
“All stages of the supply chain have been successfully audited for Q-Mark certification by BM Trada, affirming our commitment to high standards and customer trust,” Mark said. “With the availability of the FD30s fire doors on Hurst Live, we are equipping our customers to confidently access and service a market that is essential yet challenging.”
