Industry marketing agency, Nix Collective, hosted a successful ‘Nixology’ party following the Glass Times Epsom Race Day recently.

The ‘Nixology’ event was attended by a multitude of industry revellers and raised £2,000 for Team Seasoar, who are taking part in the World’s Toughest Row in December to raise money for charity Lyme Disease UK.

Nix Collective had exclusive hire of Be At One in Epsom town centre and organised a vintage double-decker bus as transport Epsom from race course.

“The Nixology party was like a breath of fresh air,” said Guy Hubble, joint managing director at RegaLead. “It was so nice to have a get-together that was more about letting your hair down and having fun, rather than talking business. While I’m sure there were plenty of deals still being done, the majority of attendees were just having a dance and generally having a good time. Just what the industry needs!”

Elton Boocock, managing director at Business Pilot, added: “Nixology was the perfect end to the day! As a fellow supporter of Team Seasoar’s epic challenge, it was great to see so many of our industry come together in the evening to support Sam and the team, and the branded cocktails were a great touch…we look forward to the next one!”

“What a way to kick off our third year,” said Nikki Dunbar, founder of Nix Collective. “It was amazing to see so many people from the industry come together and have such a great time. There really was a fantastic party atmosphere and I’m sure there were lots of sore heads and feet the next day!

“I’d like to thank everyone who came along and made our first event such an astounding success, and also a very special thanks to the generous companies who sponsored a cocktail and enabled us to raise £2,000 for Team Seasoar – VBH, Plaz-Tech Machinery, Extrudaseal, Emplas, RegaLead, Glass Times, Quickslide, UK Doors Online, and AluK.

“We’re already starting to plan our next event – watch this space!”
