ERA has renewed its membership with the official police security initiative, Secured by Design, for a ninth consecutive year.
More than 40 of ERA’s lock, hardware and mail delivery solutions are accredited by Secured by Design’s Police Preferred Specification scheme, which provides a recognised standard for all security products that have been proven to effectively deter and reduce crime.
This includes its range of Nightlatches, Fortress Cylinders and Balmoral Door Handles, which are designed by ERA’s in-house team of engineers at its headquarters in the West Midlands.
Helen Downer, UK and Ireland president of ERA’s parent company Tyman, said: “Our ongoing relationship with Secured by Design reflects our continued commitment to product innovation and our position at the very forefront of industry developments. We are continuously extending our portfolio of products to ensure they are not only compliant with the latest security standards, but that they also successfully address emerging crime trends.”
