New year, new website

First Degree Systems has launched a new website – www.first-degree-systems.com – as part of its ongoing business review strategy.

Greg Beachim, sales executive from First Degree Systems, told Glass Times that the move was to bring the company up to date with a refreshed image to match its business approach.

“Our old site was some ten years old,” Greg said. “A huge part of making that first impression was to refresh our online presence, and our new site does just that.

“It has a new, fresh, intuitive feel that welcomes visitors onto the site. However, it is a lot more than just a website as it represents the dynamic approach we have towards our products.”

Greg said that the company has shifted its focus away from being just a supplier of software, towards being a solutions provider.

“Offering one of the widest product ranges in fenestration software today, our products allows our customers to be more productive and get the most from the revenue streams available,” he said.

“Simplicity is key, and the products and services we offer to the front-end user are designed with this in mind. We set out to make flexible intuitive products that reflect market needs, with a good example of this being Fengo2’s point and click interface for iPad.

“We’ve decided not to exhibit at the FIT Show this year,” he said, “because many of our customers will also be exhibiting.

“Instead, we will work around them as we appreciate it’s a busy period for our client base.”

First Degree Systems has appointed five new members of staff in the last 18 months, including two engineers and a customer services manager.”

“Having a strong focused team is essential to the future roadmap of products planned for the coming months,” Greg said. “We have already introduced a new ticketing system that allows us to fully analyse the way we respond to customers’ needs.

“As a result, we are more forward thinking, responsive, and flexible to the demands of our customers than ever before. Getting the new web site up and running is a big part of that.

“But it’s more than just a web site launch, as the team we now have in place allows us to face the future in a strong position that allows us to welcome new customers, including those from competitors’ systems.”
