Yale has launched its new Lockmaster 24 multipoint lock, which has been designed to provide mechanical security with smart capability while supporting complete doorsets to PAS 24:2022+A1:2024 requirements.

The latest evolution of Yale’s multipoint locking platform, Lockmaster 24 brings SensCheck compatible innovation to a product built on mechanical performance. At its core is a 20mm deep throw centre hook, designed to deliver strong engagement and consistent security.

An enhanced security centre case adds strength where it matters most, while Lockmaster’s signature hook and pin configuration helps improve resistance to attack.

Lockmaster 24’s SensCheck compatibility is enabled through the keep solution, removing the need for additional routing. Through the Yale Smart Home Alarm app, SensCheck sensors also provides real-time door status updates, allowing users to check whether their door is open, closed, locked or unlocked from anywhere.

Lockmaster 24 supports complete doorsets designed to meet the latest PAS 24:2022+A1:2024 requirements, which supersede PAS 24:2022 and PAS 24:2016.

The lock is backed by the Yale Lifetime Total Trust Guarantee, worth up to Β£5,000 in support and compensation in the event of a break-in, and is Secured by Design (SBD) approved.

Brett Evans, technical director for Assa Abloy Residential, commented:

β€œLockmaster 24 is built on the proven mechanical security Yale is trusted for, while delivering the added value of smart compatibility. Because SensCheck is driven by the keep, every deadbolt-centre Lockmaster 24 is smart compatible as standard, giving fabricators and installers a smarter, future-ready solution without compromising on trusted security performance.

β€œBy supporting compliance with PAS 24:2022+A1:2024, it gives customers confidence that they are specifying a solution engineered to meet the latest security expectations and regulatory requirements.”
